As a best practice, Visionary People and our clients mutually sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect sensitive proprietary information. Therefore, as much as we wish we could exhibit our amazing clients, we are unable to do so unless its authorized.
An NDA or Non-Disclosure Agreement is a contract between two or more parties which aims at covering certain information confidential and private.
For example, a software developer may sign an NDA for the development of a new mobile app which prevents them from disclosing any detail to the public domain. Or a designer is not allowed to show he worked on a particular campaign.
At Visionary People, we use NDAs with our clients as well as our employees to safeguard proprietary information, such as strategic market research, vendor lists, business tools, business and marketing plans, and customer lists — anything that would give competitors an advantage if the information were revealed.
We're happy to train and expose our employees to our business practices; however, we have a duty to our clients, collaborators and partners to protect all of our investments and make sure that proprietary information is not shared outside the work environment.
Generally, we will require NDAs prior to providing any confidential information to the consultant(s) assigned to client projects.
